The Level Four Suites, which enjoy a fantastic view across the stadium from high up in the West Stand, have undergone major changes in the summer which mean that corporate guests in that area can now savour the special atmosphere at the Britannia Stadium.

New balconies have been created for the Suites by moving the glass windows and doors back so that guests can now sit outside to watch the game from that level.

Marco Pierre White New Date Announced

CELEBRITY chef Marco Pierre White will be putting the culinary skills of Stoke City’s players to the test in October when he makes his eagerly-awaited appearance at the Britannia Stadium.

Marco’s Stoke Kitchen will see City’s first team stars preparing a three-course meal under the guidance of the man famously known as the Godfather of modern day cooking.

The players will be challenged to serve up a real treat for diners on what promises to be a sizzling evening’s entertainment in the Waddington Suite on Wednesday 6th October.

Marco had originally been lined up to bring this hugely popular event to the Britannia Stadium in March, but a fixture backlog which was initially caused by the bad weather and then by City’s excellent FA Cup run forced the postponement of the occasion until later in the year.

The Club have now confirmed that the top chef and restaurateur will be making that appearance in the first week of October and interest in the event is already building at this early stage.

All the players will be cooking from a ‘pass’ which will be set in the Waddington Suite and their dishes will be tasted by a panel of judges before guests give their verdict on presentation.

A question and answer session with Marco will run throughout the evening to add even more entertainment to the proceedings which includes a sumptuous three-course meal.

VIP tables, which include a champagne reception in the company of Marco, have already sold out, but there are other places available with a table for 10 people costing £999 plus VAT.

CORPORATE guests occupying some of the ‘best seats in the house’ will be able to savour the tremendous atmosphere at the Britannia Stadium next season as Stoke City undertake major alterations to Executive Suites this summer.

The Level Four Suites in the West Stand are having the glass windows and doors moved back to create a balcony outside and this change is expected to create a bigger demand from people wishing to entertain in style at City’s home matches.

With the Level Two Executive Suites sold out, the refurbished Suites on Level Four are likely to go quickly following the improvement work, especially now that the release of the fixtures means that people can plan for the 2010-11 season.

“The view from Level Four is fantastic and the refurbishment of these Suites will make them some of the best seats in the house,” commented City’s Head of Commercial Andrew Billingham. “We can now combine the luxury of a Private Suite with the opportunity to enjoy the special atmosphere which we have at the Britannia Stadium.

“All the feedback we had in the past was that people wanted to be able to experience that big match atmosphere and we are therefore confident that these Executive Suites will now be even more popular with this new balcony seating.”

He added: “We are taking the opportunity to carry out refurbishment of the whole area and this will also be an added attraction of Suites which can accommodate eight to twelve people and offer the very best in corporate hospitality for the big occasion.
